At MedPro Rx, our ability to manage the "cold supply chain" process is unparalled. Simply stated, we manage product shipment preparation, packaging and shipment, so that products requiring refrigeration maintain appropriate temperatures throughout the entire distribution process from our facilities to the site of administration. We ship all “cold chain” products by overnight carrier, and we keep the “elements” in mind. Depending on the season and the shipment location, products are appropriately packaged to minimize the effects of weather, including protection from extreme heat and cold over prolonged periods of time. We also have the ability to track shipments along the way. When one of our healthcare practitioners or patients inquires as to the location or arrival time of a shipment, we can provide that information.

Specifically, our MedPro Rx pharmacists know the temperature guidelines for each medication dispensed, and we do everything possible to assure that our products are shipped within these guidelines. Because products shipped at temperatures below or above recommended guidelines can lose potency, we utilize insulated packaging, approved refrigerants and the latest technology at our facilities.
