Location Specific
Home Care
MedPro Rx, Inc. specialty pharmacy provides comprehensive specialty pharmaceutical services to patients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. These services include filling complex prescriptions for medications like clotting factor used to treat hemophilia and related blood disorders. We also provide IVIg for treatment of certain autoimmune neuromuscular diseases and rheumatologic disorders. Other chronic conditions treated in home care include hepatitis and certain immune disorders. We deliver the prescription and any necessary supplies directly to the site of administration. We also provide around-the-clock patient counseling regarding questions about their therapy.
Care in the Physician's Office, Infusion Clinic, or other external sites
There are occasions when it is more appropriate for therapies and services to be delivered at the physician’s office or clinic than at a patient’s home. This would include the administration of products which are more difficult to administer, as well as products that have the potential for side effects which can be managed more appropriately under the direction of the physician. MedPro Rx pharmacists and clinical nursing team will provide prescription counseling, product support, and therapeutic monitoring for healthcare providers regardless of the patient’s location.

Clinical Nursing
A centrally located intake team begins the patient assessment
process. The multidisciplinary clinical
team consists of a nurse case manager, a clinical pharmacist, a patient
services representative and a reimbursement specialist. Organized
by geography, clinical specialty and patient requirements, this group coordinates nursing services based on the patient’s
clinical needs and geographic location. Along with
the other members of the team, our nurse case managers assess the
clinical
needs of the patient and determine the appropriate level of nursing
support.return to top
