1. What does MedPro Rx do?
MedPro Rx is a retail pharmacy that provides a variety of medications to the clients it serves. One area of emphasis is the provision of clotting factor which is used to treat those effected by certain bleeding disorders. Another area of emphasis is IVIg which also known as immunoglobuloin, IGIV, immune globulin, or IGG. IVIg is used to treat a variety of immuno deficient diagnoses as well as certain neurologic and rheumatologic conditions.

2. Does MedPro Rx provide all clotting factor concentrates?
Yes. We dispense all brands of recombinant and plasma clotting factor per your physician’s orders. You can be assured we will provide the clotting factor in the vial sizes you need for your treatment regimen.

3. Which brands of IVIg does MedPro Rx dispense?
We dispense the following brands of IVIg: Carimune NF, Flebogamma 5% DIF, Gammagard S/D, Gammagard Liquid, Gamunex, Octagam, Privigen, and Vivaglobin (SCIg),

4. Where do I get my clotting factor ancillary supplies?
MedPro Rx will deliver all clotting factor and supplies directly to you. We deliver anywhere in the United States. Your orders will be delivered via Federal Express, UPS or local courier. We do not charge delivery fees.

5. Where do I get my IVIg ancillary supplies?
MedPro Rx will deliver all IVIg and related supplies directly to your site of service be it in the home, physician’s office or infusion clinic. We deliver anywhere in the United States. Your orders will be delivered via Federal Express, UPS or local courier. We do not charge delivery fees.

6. What does MedPro Rx charge for ancillary supplies?
All supplies needed for infusions are provided at no additional charge.

7. How do I dispose of the needles I use?
MedPro Rx will provide you with a waste disposal container called a Sharps container.

8. What do I do if I need a nurse for my infusions?
At MedPro Rx we know how important nursing services are. Should you wish to learn self-infusion for your hemophilia care, our nurses certified in hemophilia care will provide assistance and training whenever possible. It is our goal to help you obtain the best outcome that suits your needs and wishes.

For those needing IVIg, a nurse will always administer that therapy. These infusions usually take several hours. Our nurse will be on during the entire infusion. We will not leave the patient unattended at any time.

9. If I need an emergency delivery who should I contact?
MedPro Rx has a clinician available to respond to your needs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week should emergency services be required.

10. What happens if I am going to be traveling for work or I go on vacation?
At MedPro Rx we are here to meet all of your needs. When traveling we will supply you with additional medication (clotting factor, IVIg,, etc.) as well as ancillary supplies, including a Sharps container for medical waste disposal. We also have portable coolers available that run off either a car’s electrical system or regular current. We will deliver all supplies to the location of your choice via Federal Express, UPS or local courier.

11. Will MedPro Rx ever ask for any personal information over the internet?
The simple answer is “NO”. We strictly adhere to all HIPAA guidelines regarding personal clinical information. Furthermore, we follow all Better Business Bureau policies regarding credit card transactions. We DO NOT ask for any credit card or personal information over the internet.

12. What should I do if someone asks for my personal information?
Any information pertaining to services rendered by MedPro Rx will be handled over the telephone or in person by one of the TEAM members in our office. There is a company on the internet that has a name similar to ours. It is our understanding that this company has been obtaining personal data including credit card information from people for potentially unauthorized and fraudulent charges. That is not our company and we wish to make our patients aware of this situation. Please contact us directly at 1-888-571-3100 should you have any questions or concerns.

13. Do you have an Advocacy Team?
Yes, we do. At MedPro Rx we believe that advocacy plays an important role in the lives of our patients. We are here to help you in managing the every day care of your bleeding disorder so that you may maintain the highest quality of life possible. We are there advocating for you with insurance issues and helping you succeed with your treatment.

Yes, we do. Our TEAM works at the local level assisting non-profit organizations which provide services to the bleeding disorders community.
