The VZV Research Foundation, founded in 1991, is the world's only nonprofit organization solely combating the varicella-zoster virus (VZV) and VZV infections— including chickenpox, shingles and post-herpetic neuralgia (PHN)—through research and education. Supports research that may lead to a better understanding of VZV infections and to advances in their prevention, treatment and cure.
